As Long As There’s a Lawn

Milan. A portrait of the city and its relationship with the public green areas.

Milan is a city that is growing and changing a lot (especially since the Universal Exposition is getting close) and often it just runs after its identity of “the most international city of the country”.

In Milan parks and gardens are frequent and have many forms, but the city probably lacks an overall consistency on how the green is developed and included in the urban setting. This of course reflects the several souls of the city, as well as the various directions that it has tried to take over the years.

I meant to work on the imageries of Milan and its green, seeing whether and how they can talk to each other.
